Dear Bradstreet,
In my letter of the 2nd April, regarding
Ring's recommendation of Mr. V. A. Perkins in
connection with the vacancy for an Assistant Government
Assessor for Hong Kong, I said that I was keeping your
file until we knew if Mr. A. V. Currie had accepted the
offer of this appointment. Your file has evidently
since been returned, but I cannot see from our papers
whether you have been informed that Mr. Currie was
actually appointed, though your Office was officially
notified in our letter No. 57288 C.R. of the 6th April.
